How Can a Lump On The Breast Be Treated?

I have I have a lump in my right breast. I m a sexual abuse victim, so women s health care is EXTREMELY difficult, if not impossible, for me. I had a mammogram and even 2 mg of Ativan didn t help! The mammogram came out OK, no dense breasts, but when I had my last on 3-1/2 years ago, I was told that I had heterogenously dense breasts. I m sick and tired of conflicting stories. Exactly who am I to believe? Can dense breasts clear up? I am 56 and was 53 and in menopause when I had the last screening. I must also say this is just informational for me, as, due to my abuse history, I will never again receive women s health care in my life. I had a hysterectomy at 33, so, in my opinion, it is not important to go through the horrific anxiety.

Hi thanks for writing to healthcare magic.
First of all I feel very sorry that you're sexually abused and having anxiety. As for as your lump in right breast is concerned,be assured there is nothing abnormal in your scanningSince your mammogram is normal there is nothing to worry.Homgensity of breast tissue during scanning doesn't mean there is something to worry.
